Cosmeston

This morning, the Canadas have 6 well grown goslings [there were originally 7], and the pair of Mute Swans on E lake have 5 well grown cygnets. The GCG pair on W lake have a half grown young which is probably big enough to be safe from predation now. Some pix below: Red-tailed Bumblebee, moulting Buzzard, the Canada pair & family, Cockchafer - not seen one at the park before, Mallard ducklings and a Yellow Belle moth {Aspitates ochrearia} in W paddock plus a riot of yellow there. There also seems to be rather more than usual of Common Flax coming in to flower.
