Cosmeston

My friend Annie Irving found a few Redpoll yesterday, so I took advantage of the nice morning to see if they were still there [haven't seen a Redpoll there for quite a few years - they used to be fairly
regular in the winter].

Luckily they were still in the same place, about 200m up W paddock on the RH side, feeding on Alder cones, their favourite food source. Took a lot of photos of these very active little finches that never keep still.
Also present of note, 2 Green Woodpeckers were on the path that runs between E paddock and the golf course, near the carving.
