Incredibly wet under foot at Cossie this morning. Sully Brook was brim full and I estimate the lakes were a good 9" to 1ft above their normal level. Apart from the usual wildfowl, there were c.20 Fieldfare, 4 Mistle Thrushes, 30-40 Redwing, Song Thrushes and Blackbirds feeding along the edge of Cogan Wood [by the Dragonfly Pond path]. Also Green Woodpecker, and 2 Jay, and what could have been a Goshawk, or at least a very large fem Sprawk [only got a last minute flight view].
