Nice sunny day again. Feeling pretty rough but had to walk the dog, so took the camera, and got these shots. The single remaining imm GC Grebes from each pair are doing well. The Goldcrest was a miracle shot from about 50 or so of leaves and twigs - they never stay still! Not much other action. A small skein of Canadas flew in and there was a light passage of Swallows, and a Kingfisher flew across W lake bay.
It's heading for the midge on the right!

Three Spotted Flycatchers still present this morning, having moved from their location at the end of the W paddock central hedge yesterday afternoon, to near the far LH corner of the far W paddock field, where they were some days ago. Four Mistle Thrush in W paddock, 7 Tufted Ducks [6 E lake and 1 W lake]. The many Sand Martins of y’day afternoon had diminished to a few.

The Whinchat was till present this morning on the RH posts of the snipe paddock as you approach from W paddock, then on the far end posts. Also 2 Common Whitethroat and a Chiffchaff there. W lake had 3 Tufted Ducks, a Little Grebe, and 2 ad GC Grebes, each with a single young, one moe or less full size and the other a little smaller. This is the larger of the two, grabbed with my bridge camera.
