Cosmeston

Orchids are doing great now. There are about 100 spikes of Pyramidal just coming into flower at the end of E paddock on the left just before the kissing gate onto the Mile Road track. So now that's c.100 Pyramidal, 100+ Bee, 1000's of Common Spotted, 4 Greater Butterfly, a few Southern Marsh, and Twayblade and Early Purple that have now gone over.
Bird-wise today there were just a few House- and Sand Martins over W lake between the showers, a male Reed Bunting by the Snipe paddock and Reed Warbler still singing by E lake boardwalk.
