Cosmeston

The hybrid Tufted Duck x Pochard [probably] was present today with 4 Tufted Ducks. It's been around for a while - looks superficially like a Scaup but has a coppery tinge to the head rather than the bottle green tinge of a Greater Scaup. The drake Lesser Scaup has been around but was back in Cardiff Bay today apparently. A Mistle Thrush is on territory and singing most days, by the east paddock [behind the play area].
