Cosmeston

The GC Grebe chicks [2] are about half grown so prob safe from predation now. O/W pretty quiet. Quite a lot of Gatekeeper on the wing.

Cosmeston

My first visit for several weeks for various reasons. Not a place to be today - absolutely heaving. However ignoring the acres of flabby red flesh, there were plenty of Ringlets on the wing, also Emperor dragonfly and 4-Spot Chasers, 1000's of tadpoles, Gt Crested Grebe appears to be sitting, 3 Cormorant, one of which caught a sizeable Eel.
LBB Gulls included 833 orange on blue [Glocs landfill]; 5PF black on yellow [Severn Est gull group]; and 5NF white on red [Mold - Flintshire]. The latter 2 were seen here in July last year too.
